Macauley Bonne Extends Scoring Streak As He Tops English National League Scoring Chart!

Zimbabwe and Leyton Orient goal-machine, Macauley Bonne extended his English National League scoring streak to five games, netting his sixteenth league goals for Leyton Orient in their 0-2 away win to Wrexham on Saturday to top the National league scoring charts.

The 23-year-old forward who is enjoying a rich goal scoring form ever since he arrived at Orient from Colchester in July 2017, opened the scoring in the 86th minutes to lead the O's to a late 0-2 away victory to Wrexham to go on top of the English National League log table. James Brophy scored the second goal in the 90th minutes of the match to seal the win fo Orient.

The Zimbabwean who is likely to feature in Warriors last Africa Cup of nations group match at home to Congo Brazzaville next year, could be an important addition to Sunday Chidzambwa's attack-force ahead of the now crucial last group qualifier encounter to decide Warriors qualification to Cameroon 2019 if he maintains his goal scoring form.

Bonne has now scored 16 league goals in 21 appearances for the O's this season, scoring six goals in his last five league appearances for Leyton Orient
