Weekend Action Wrap: Check Out How Your Foreign Based Players Perfomed Over The Weekend!

Below is a wrap up of football action that happened between Saturday and Sunday involving all our players based outside of Zimbabwe.

On Saturday, German based forward, Kelvin Lunga was in action for his club Rondinghausen, playing 86' minutes in the team's 1-2 win away to TV Herkenrath. The 24-year old Lunga who is expected to feature in Zimbabwe Warriors' last Afcon qualifier at home to Congo Brazzaville- is in good form at the moment appearing in 12 matches started 7 and scoring four goals so far this season.

In South Africa, Elvis Chipezeze who is now commanding a regular first team jersey at Baroka- was in goals against Golden Arrows winning 1-2 in the Absa premiership on Saturday. Talent Chawapiwa started the match and was substituted in the 79th minutes for Matome Kgoetyane.

On Golden Arrows side,  Knox Mutizwa was introduced in the 55th minutes for Gerald Sibeko  but it was Baroka who had the upper hand.

Rising Zimbabwe Warriors defensive midfielder, Nyasha Munetsi is slowly solidifying his place in the starting line up of Orlando Pirates as he played another full game in the Buccaneers' 0-0 draw away to Mamelodi Sundowns in the Absa premiership Saturday encounter. Munetsi has so far started in all four of Pirates' last fixtures.

In England Tendayi Darikwa was in action for Nottingham Forest playing full game and a man of the match performance against Stoke City on Saturday in the English Championship league.

Andy Rinomhota (21) continued to get minutes in the senior side playing the first 45; minutes in Reading's 2-2 draw at home to Ipswich Town.

Back In South Africa, Khama Billiat and Willard Katsande all played full game as Kaizer Chiefs drew nil all to Chippa United in the Absa premiership match on Saturday.

Terrence Dzvukamanja started for Bidvest Wits and played 82 minutes as they suffer a1-2 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic.  Ronald Pfumbidzai Played full game for the winning Celtic.

Evans Rusike played full game for Supersport United plus a goal assist as Kaitano Tembo register a 0-1 win away to Free State Stars on Saturday.

In Belgium, Marvelous Nakamba played full game for Club Brugge as they suffer a 2-1 loss to Sporting Charleroi in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday. Club Brugge are second on the log with 31 points from 15 matches four points behind log leaders, KRC Genk.

In China, Nyasha Mushekwi's Dalian Yifang steered away from the drop zone after an incridible 2-0 win at home to Changchun Yatai on Sunday in the absence of injured Mushekwi to finish the Chinese Super League on position 11 with 35 points from 30 games.

Butholezwe Ncube and Ovidy Karuru were introduced in the 42nd and 71st minutes respectively in the team's 0-0 draw at home to Polokwane City on Sunday.
