It was his first time experience to play against a top English premier league side, but the Zimbabwe Warriors target and Reading rising star, Andy Rinomhota gave a good account of himself as Reading lost 2-0 to Manchester United in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder who is currently enjoying good form ever since he made his Championship debut late last year, started the match for Reading at the popular Old Trafford stadium- home to Manchester United and lasted the full game as he rolled on an outstanding perfomance against a top Premier League side that is currently unstoppable in the league

Ever since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United as caretaker coach after the sacking of Jose Mourinho late last year- things have changed for the better at the Red Devils with the team picking incredible form that was last known in the days of Alex "The Great" Ferguson, but Zimbabwe Warriors target Andy Rinomhota could not be intimidated as he matched the big premier league boys toe to toe helping Reading enjoying better ball possession than Manchester United.

Rinomhota who was thrust in the defensive midfield role partnering Liam Kelly in coach Jose Gomes' 4-2-3-1 formation against United, had an incridible 88.1% pass accuracy rate, won 14 out of 22 duels, won 6 out 9 tackles, dispossessed only once and had an overall performance rate of 7.0 according to statistics.

The English-born midfielder is eligible to represent Zimbabwe Warriors at international level and has in the past expressed interest to play for his paternal country, but he is still to earn a cap with the Warriors.
