Walter Musona Resurfaces With A Bang As He Scored A Brace In Polokwane City's Victory Over Amazulu!

Walter Musona Back with a bang after scoring a brace on his return to first XI.

After last featuring for the Limpopo based club in November 2018, Walter Musona returned to Polokwane City's starting line-up with a bang, scoring a brace in Rise and Shine's 3-2 win at home to Amazulu on Saturday.

The 23-year-old former FC Platinum first registered his name on the scoresheet in the 17 minutes to double the scores for City after Bongile Booi's opening goal in the first minute of the game.

Musona came back just before the half time to score the third goal for City in the 45+2 minutes to complete his brace and eventually seal a 3-2 home victory for the Rise and Shine boys.

It was Musona's first start after missing three league matches for the team with a suspected lite knock he suffered in their 1-2 loss to Cape Town City on November 27, 2018 after he was substituted in the 55th minutes.

The brace brought Musona's goal tally to three league goals in 12 appearances for the club so far this season.
